 REORGANIZATIONAL MEETING: 9/19/2012

Thank you to everyone who responded to our Green Team survey. Given the results of the survey, the Team will move under the umbrella of the Environmental Commission on a trial basis effective September of 2012.  Gwenne Baile is willing to assume the lead as the contact person for the community-based side of the program and Barbara Prince will remain the municipal contact. The team will continue to work on Sustainable Jersey certification actions with a focus on the next level of silver certification.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1. The official “reorganizational meeting” will be held on September 19, 2012 at the Environmental Center on Ormond Avenue at 7 pm. If you are interested in attending but cannot, please contact Gwenne @ Gbaile@verizon.net. To best gauge the commitment of our members, as well as to discuss the future operation of the Sustainable Haddon Township Team, attendance at the September meeting is imperative.

2.     If you responded in the affirmative  for assuming a leadership role in a particular area of interest, please contact Gwenne prior to the September 19^th meeting,so that an agenda may be set. Please check out the required actions under the Sustainable Jersey Program to find an action to assist the Team to work toward. The survey was “blind” to assure your most candid responses.
